Auxiliary Services
Auxiliary Services is a department within Emory University Campus Services that provides services to Emory University, Emory Auxiliaries, Emory Hospitals, and Emory Clinics. The goal of Auxiliary Services is to provide exceptional customer and operational services and support Emory’s Zero Landfill Initiative of 95% diversion by 2025. The following services are provided under the Auxiliary Services umbrella.
EMORY RECYCLES
The Emory Recycles program recycles glass, paper, aluminum, cardboard, C&D waste, scrap metal and collects food waste and animal bedding for composting. The program’s primary goal is to support Emory’s Zero Landfill Initiative of 95% landfill diversion by 2025.

SURPLUS PROPERTY
Surplus Property supports Emory University’s goal of 95% Landfill Diversion by diverting retired assets through resale, liquidation, salvage, or recycling.
MOVING SERVICES
Emory Moving Services is responsible for the safe handling and transportation of Emory property including furniture, lab equipment, boxed items, and moves for campus renovations and capital projects.
SPECIAL EVENTS
Special Event equipment and set-up is provided through the Staging department including delivery and set up of tables, chairs, stages, lecterns, recycling and compost containers. Staging supports coordination for specialty equipment rentals such as tents, umbrellas, and poster boards.
PEST and WILDLIFE MANAGEMENT
Pest and Wildlife Management provides services to customers within Emory University and Emory Healthcare utilizing Integrated Pest Management (IPM) whenever possible.
SHREDDING SERVICES
Emory Shredding Services (ESS) is the preferred confidential document shredding provider at Emory University. ESS is HIPAA compliant and supports the National Association for Information Destruction (NAID) security guidelines.
