Special Events


About the Program

Special Event equipment and set-up is provided through the Staging department including delivery and set up of tables, chairs, stages, lecterns, recycling and compost containers. Staging supports coordination for specialty equipment rentals such as tents, umbrellas, and poster boards.

Please note:​
We can only process special event requests submitted 5 business days before your delivery date.​ Last minute requests cannot be guaranteed to be fulfilled and may incur costs.​ Our staff will contact you to make the appropriate arrangements once the information is reviewed and approved.​
The event speed type will only be charged if the event request:​
  • Is submitted within 5 business days of service date​
  • Is outside of standard operating hours of Monday – Friday 8:00am to 4:30pm​
  • Exceeds 8-man hours​
  • Is for an Emory Auxiliary customer (e.g. healthcare, dining, housing)​
  • Is associated with a renovation, capital or departmental project​
  • Is associated with a leased Emory property or a space not covered by E&G allocation (e.g. storage facility, off campus site, auxiliary location)​
Charges may vary based on the time required for equipment delivery, setup, and breakdown.​
